TEN is committed to rendering its customers safe, punctual and quality service at competitive rates. The Company has thus earned the reputation of a reliable, professional and responsible service provider among first-rate charterers.

In addition, TEN vessels have received awards and laudatory letters from independent bodies recognizing the Company's efforts to comply--and even anticipate--developments in quality operation.

By promoting an active safety culture among company personnel, both in-house and on-board, TEN and its Technical Manager (TST) are committed to not only providing quality service to their clients, but also to ensuring consistent protection of the environment. Through a comprehensive system of continuous training exercises and seminars, they constantly ensure that a proactive, preventive mentality prevail throughout the enterprise. In this framework TST also sponsors major training establishments for seafarers in the Greek island of Chios and in the Philippines. Many graduates of these schools join the crews of TEN and TST vessels upon graduation, thus ensuring continuity and compatibility within the company.

 ISM / ISO Compliance

Through its Technical Manager (TST), all TEN vessels received accreditation on ISM, ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 compliance. In fact, TST-as Founding Member of HELMEPA-was one of the first shipping companies in Greece to voluntarily comply with the requirements of the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code) already in August 1997, well before the ISM Code went officially into effect on July 1, 1998.
